I think the operation royale of the end was quite good.
Nothing in particular
One chapter at the beginning is used for the mission where the powered suit equipped with various tactical weapons jumps while searching for the target and Pyongpyong jumps and the explanation of the powered suit is written in one chapter on the way. The rest of the chapter shows the training and promotion after joining from the time the hero joins the army.
I think that if you evaluate military personnel training and military philosophy it will be more highly appreciated, but since I was not really interested in that, I read the neighborhood, those parts that account for the majority in this book. After all it will be normal as an evaluation.

Although it is a work highly recognized in Japan by saying that it inspired Gundam, the content of the story is neither mechanical action nor superior.
Is it just as a story that the boy added stories of politics of Iijii's father to the growing temple which is tempted to enter into the army as it is a fault.
In the postscript at the end of the book it is considered totalitarian and war praised story, but I did not think so.
Selfless service, responsible behavior, experts with military expertise with precise judgment only have voting rights From what this author wants to say, what the author wishes to say is that politicians should move what can take responsibility. People who prioritize private affairs should not speak to politics. I assert.
If anything, the "good old American" moral view of Hainline was extravagantly brought to the foreground and the assertion of self-responsibility and assertion of love to youth is a primitive while set in the future world and at that time The situation as Vietnamese situation and as a book of enlightenment to those indifferent to juvenile delinquency are strong, there are many sympathies.
However, an ideal ideal such as an army where selfless service can be done. I feel doubt as to whether honesty American sweet utopia feeling is obscuring and it is really so.
And at the end I am brave at the end of the American birthday, but slightly subtle.
It may be a work sold by the studio Nuu because it did a good job with illustration.
If you are inline, there are lots of other interesting works, so I do not recommend it much.
Particularly where the muscular Hainline preaching section lasts long, I think that it is good for those who can admire, but I think that it is very painful for those who can not be convinced.
Still, is not it an interesting book to think about ethics and morality?
If you can catch things objectively, I would like you to look over at once.
Evaluation is <good>.

I read it for the first time in 25 years, but I read it back. I was honest.
Do not expect action or SF nature. Not much as there is no relevance to Gundam, so be careful (laugh). It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a book of thought of Hainline. Yankee at hundreds of years old, the justification and rights of military force, the immobilization of obligation idea and the impression of patriotism will feel unnecessary. Positive faction posted at the end of the book.Negative faction is much more funny (illustration of powered suit by Neme, story in the cover version, it is unknown whether it is also posted in the previous and next version).
However, if you read it well, it does not mean you are praising war separately, and it does not mean you are fucking patriotism. Now, young people, yea!
It is difficult for a battlefeed to change, "the author's philosophy is said only. It is unavoidable to be frightened other than Americans if this is read unnoticedly by the macho hero's monologue. It is strange to say, "for the Americans, SF for rural areas" in the draft. After all it is a Hainline work, this will be the first time to win the Hugo Award.
There is a perfection degree as a sentence, but a long, bad, one that is disgusted with the development of ideologicality.

It was interesting to stuff an extreme political message in SF.
I do not care whichever political color it is, whether it is right or left.
If you pin down the left you will feel like this.
There were also many parts that were made to think about right and responsibility, regardless of the right and left.

While animation and movies are nothing but actions, at least the novel version was thinking to fight seriously. Well, since it is a work of 1960, I think that it is not fair to look at the current viewpoint because the American military after brain weather such as World War II and Korean War was the source. On the contrary America is not changed, I wonder, I wonder if the lesson of Vietnam losing battle easily disappears.
Well, I was reading while thinking that someone who can believe is happy. I dislike it. It does not matter if you praise the war separately beautifully depicting spiritual macho. Because the science is a novel.

It just fades to analyze Mr. Mr. who was bitterly evaluated in this work which is sacred by influencing the design of Gundam (Gun Cannon).
I also read the powered suit, such as this work and "Rebellion of the Arctic City" when it is broadcasted by the Gundam, but it is only part of design and operation such as design flow to Gundam (honesty, Gundam = MS powered suit It is not a good or bad thing.) It is disappointing, as it is in the extension line of Gundam.
However, I am grateful for having given me the opportunity to touch Hainline work whatever it is. You can read about it as dry and fresh warfare SF. It is somewhat longer and there are many boring parts, though.
I read a few times at the time but the memory of now is ambiguous, so comment stops. Let's read over again.
