[What is good]
It's a cute, fluffy show that is bright and appealing. The way the costumes were designed so that they are different, yet have similar themes (the arm bands, the leg bands, the stripes on the outfits) was well thought out. It's a simple alternative to the plot heavy and character driven Sailor Moon...or for people with poor memories.
[What is bad]
What's bad about the show is that for all the emphasis on animals and saving the world and the environment....there is none! It would have been great to differentiate from Sailor Moon a bit by exploiting the whole 'animal powers' bit to give the girls ACTUAL animal powers...otherwise...what's the point of being 'infused'? A minor detail that bothered me was that no-one seemed able to tell the difference between the girls and their alter-egos despite their code names being something like "mew mew lettuce?" How many girls in the world are called Lettuce these days? Also, I thought the ending could have been much better done..
Ichigo would rather beat up her friends and let Deep Blue destroy the planet so her boyfriend could live? Is that really what Masaya would have wanted?
For the comic book especially, I found it annoying how scenes would jump so quickly with the characters saying silly things like "oh, the people have all evacuated" when you couldn't see any people or backgrounds - the main characters just dominate the pages. I also feel like there is too much emphasis on the "love" between Ichigo and Masaya... really? They are what, 12? Let them have a childhood, for crying out loud.
In other words, it's cute, but that's about it. It's too main character focused with the other characters fading into the background too often. The many plot holes are not explained well, and the tv show blatantly rips off Sailor Moon villains, storylines and ...well, everything.

Well, maybe it is a matter of cource because I ama a guy.
But I wonder for who this work was made.
For little girls?
Or for a young otaku guys?
Or for cosplaying girls?
I cannot figure it out.
