A mostly well-executed film which has a few interesting plot holes (if humans forgot everything, then how would they know how to put on their clothes?), a pointless subplot with a rogue mech, and a cop-out ending. Not quite a classic, but still worth your time.

I do not know the original, but it was a lost evaluation.

As early as 2010, which was supposed to be held in the world of this work that expo (a managed society called eternal town was built) was also passed, but it became like a baby by Amnesia Hummed people, the fear of losing reason is clearly drawn from early. Johnny is also a boy of the hero who is one of the human beings, and was a counterpart existence, ironically also became a boy 's godparent (wataru) by avoiding the bad influence of Amnesia by human experiments.

Speaking of voice acting members, of course, Kazuki Yao as Mr. Wataru and Mr. Toda Keiko of Sophia's role were also quite tolerant, but in the mysterious of Mr. Yamaguchi Katsuhei, the strange performances that seemed healed glowed It was. Even though it was still in the mid-20s at that time, it would not have been an overstatement to say that it was a veteran fellow. Unfortunately, even though I crumble along the way, it seems that Wataru traveled variously as he named, but the Ross story is ... ...

It was supposed to have an exchange with Sue and Little John, and the former was also wondering whether that scenes scene was also strong necessity, but before that robot ........ Old man of the pilot also stereo It was a typistic madman and neither poison nor medicine, but it was a dramatic exit play.
Lisa & Simpson in the eternal town edition did not have an ego (although each was a memory of falsehood, but a number of other people were playing) The feeling of loss and still happiness seemed to have been said for each, but the former I wore a suit and preached to cooperate with them (maybe it was a mayor 's role) It might have been more interesting to interact with.

Did not the unexpectedness of the identity of the director who set up Amnesia was also unexpected? I wonder why I did not understand another reason why I did it. However, the scene where Watarl was hugged in his chest is "the rebirth and hope of a person who has lost its likeliness"
It seemed to have shown that. After that, I met various people as well, and eventually I became a savior of human beings, but I wonder if I wanted something more mind-bored. Evaluation is "normal" on the "good" side.

[good point]
A story that keeps track of Wataru by self-repairing it even if the guardian, which is a robot made for anti-submission, is broken or broken, has a thrill and fear sense.

[Bad point]
Since it is the production of 1990, drawing is not very good. Also, the conclusion as a work is ambiguous.

[Comprehensive evaluation]
Evaluate as normal.

Well, it is a work of honest imagination. I wanted Mr. Yoshiaki Kawirii to be involved as a director, not a screenwriter. It is obvious that not much of the original lyricism has appeared.
In the original, the relationship between the hero and the heroine is more adult (hence the kiss in the parting scene is really funny) The interaction with the people who meet in the middle of the journey is also unable to write . Because it is a roadway thing, the original taste does not come out for a length of less than two hours.
Personally, I want you to be a live-action drama in the United States for about 2 courses.

I first realized that this was created in 1990 only after seeing this site.
Perhaps I thought that I saw at that time, but I thought it was a more old work at that time. (Sensuously about 83 years)

As a story, it is a story that an alien who manages and observes mankind like a bottoms wiseman erases people 's memories in order to test the possibilities of people, but a little special is that the person travels with the hero.
At that time it was a story that was thoughtable inside.

I do not understand well and there is memory that I borrowed a video appropriately and saw it.

I enjoyed it for the part I did not expect.
Personally I liked the story of the city controlled by that computer.

Oh, I watched it.
Recalling now that I am convinced that Mr. Kikuchi is the original work, I think that in many cases the work of this person shows to the viewer chewing to contents which is easy to understand in animation.
Regarding the hero Wataru and the world view, it was said that it was the meaning by reformatting humans all over the world as introduced below.
Ultimately, human beings are purged, clueless or answer is not but Wataru keeps on traveling ..., it is "good" with the work which it enjoyed as it is.

One day nearly all human race was deprived of memory.
Civilization collapses. Residual human race existed only to keep living according to instinct.
SF Road Movie set on the continent of such a desolate world.
The hero is a young man who has rediscovered knowledge afterwards. I think that guests are probably aliens and mysterious beauties.
Although the original novel is going somewhat above as much as to tickle the imagination, the animated version is also quite funny.
There was quite a lot in the single-shot OVA until about the end of the 1980s, such tasteful animated cartoons, especially sorts of depictions after the collapse of the world. For example, "Gray" originally written by Tagami Yoshihisa.
In the hot sunshine, I feel a thirsty lonely feeling, hence a feeling of openness that drifts away. This work is also one such work.

If you are a SF fan, it is a honorable mention without loss.

The original Mr. Hideyuki Kikuchi and director Kojiri Yoshiaki Zoshi are also fans, so let me see.
Because it is an old work, it has a pale smell, but the story, the tempo was pretty good.
Good thing by just going up in order to evaluate

The name of the wind is Amnesia "A Wind Named Amnesia"
199 〓〓year unknown memory loss Amnesia was spreading throughout the earth by the wind.
A boy Johnny who was human experimented with the main character Wataru and never lost his memory, and a mysterious woman Sophia.
A robot guardian that cracks people who have lost all memories and turned into mobs.
Watarl goes on a journey to see what people are seeking ...
This is a big epic warning of humanity !?
Supervised: Yoshiaki Kawajirushi Original: Hideyuki Kikuchi
Director: Kazuo Yamazaki
Voice actors: Kazuki Yao, Keiko Toda, Hanako, Hikaru Noriko,
Yamaguchi Kappei, Rosato Daisuke, Mita Yuko and others The most obnoxious thing was the poor drawing overall as a result of Professor Kawashiri!
(Is it worse than the same director Makai city <Shinjuku>?)
But, the story is reasonably well thoughtful.
I also think that the appearance character was as good as it was.
As for Wataru of Yao, Johnny (CV: Kappei Yamaguchi) and Sofia (CV: Keiko Toda) were good!
Surprised by expansion other than the last last? Sophia is God ?, an alien?
